Coach Ernst Announces Two More Basketball Powers Added to High School and Post Grad Schedule:
Summit Knight's coach Steve Ernst has added two games for both the high school and post graduate programs with traditional powers from the east coast. With an already star-studded 2010-11 schedule, the addition of St. Thomas More and New Hampton high school and post graduate teams will provide one of the strongest schedules in the nation (for a complete schedule, visit our site at www.eteamz.com/summitbasketball).
On Friday, December 3rd, the Knights will travel to St. Thomas More School in Oakdale, Connecticut to play the Chancellors high school team and the post grad squad. St. Thomas More is well known for their nationally ranked PG basketball team and the undefeated 2005 New England Prep Champion football squad. On Sunday, Decembere 5th, Coach Ernst takes the Knights to New Hampton School in New Hampshire. Launched in 1821 and located in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire near the magnificent White Mountains, the Summit Christian Academy basketball teams will have a great travel experience as well as enjoy the highest level of athletic competition. Summit's Post-Graduate (PG) Basketball program scores with proven academic success. Athletes who need higher college board scores, a stronger GPA or more time on the court before the 'big time' make their home at Summit Christian Academy. With an elite national schedule and intense individualized training, Knight basketball is on the rise. Because the students are postgraduates, our athletic teams compete against excellent college junior varsity teams as well as the best prep schools in New England. The one-year Post-Graduate program is a very successful option for most basketball players, And there is no loss collegiate (D1) eligibility.

The Summit Christian Boys post grad basketball program features a National Schedule of prominent powers such as Saint Thomas Move and South Kent. Also the squad will compete against some of the best Junior Colleges in the Nation including South East Illinois, Lincoln Trail and UConn Avery. Additionally the Knights challenging schedule include NAIA Colleges like Siena Heights in Adrian, Michigan and Manchester College in Indiana.
The Post Grad program helps recent graduates raise their college board scores while playing a collegiate like schedule. The squad kicks off its season Oct. 10th in Viniennes, Indiana as part of a 16 team Jamboree. You can see the team perform its “high wire act” at home against Manchester College, Formerly coached by Steve Alford. Also, “The Legend Classic” a four team tournament is scheduled her Oct. 29th and 30th. The talent at the Post grad level is simply awesome Often skilled players receive Division ! Scholarships. Few even go straight to the NBA.
